Error / Stack-Trace Explainer

A stack trace tells you exactly where something broke, but rarely why — that part usually means reading five stack frames of framework internals to find the one line that's actually yours. Paste the real error message or full trace (not a paraphrase — the exact text matters), and get the likely root cause explained in plain English along with concrete fixes to try, ranked by how likely each one is to be the actual problem.

Before you paste it in
  • Include the full trace, not just the last line — the actual bug is often several frames up from where the error surfaced.
  • Fill in the language/framework field if you know it — a Django KeyError and a plain Python one point at different likely causes.
  • If it only happens sometimes, say so — intermittent failures usually mean a race condition or timing issue, not a straightforward logic bug.
