Cron Expression Generator + Explainer
Five fields, and somehow it's always the day-of-week one that trips people up (is Sunday 0 or 7? depends who you ask). Describe the schedule in plain English and get back the actual cron expression, a plain-English explanation of what it does, and its next several run times — computed deterministically from the expression itself, not guessed by an AI, so the dates you see are always correct.
Example
"Every weekday at 6pm"
0 18 * * 1-5
Minute 0, hour 18, any day of month, any month, weekdays 1-5 (Monday through Friday). The one thing this doesn't tell you: cron servers almost always run in UTC, not your local timezone — "6pm" only means 6pm where the server's clock thinks it is, which is a common source of jobs firing at the wrong hour after a deploy to a new region.
